 Paul Montesano is a songwriter, arranger, vocalist and guitarist living in San Diego. His current work heard on PBS stations across the country has allowed him to compose original works in a variety of genres. With roots in American soul, pop, Latin, folk and Jazz he combines lyrics, melody and folk rhythms in new expressions of WORLD MUSIC.

Many of Paul's compositions and master recordings can be heard as soundtracks, and his catalog is available for licensing. He has worked with artists from Africa and Brazil over the last 20 years, and he continues to compose music based on root rhythms. Paul's strongest musical influences outside of the United States come from BRAZIL, and his current projects combine Bossa Nova, Neo-Soul, Reggae, and Samba. As a popular song stylist, Paul leans toward the romantic themes, and performs his own originals, along with cover songs from other great songwriters such as Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, and Antonio Carlos Jobim. He interprets the Great American Songbook in the Frank Sinatra vein with his own unique guitar style and smooth vocals.
His audio production studio is located on the Point Loma peninsula of San Diego, California.
